My First Cosplay Look! (Please Offer Your Opinions!)

Okay, I will say, this is not ''official'' cosplay, becuase I did not buy the actual costume from a cosplay website, but it is something that I've made. I'm planning on wearing this for halloween.
Can you guess who it is? (Hint: It's not one of the Mew Mews.)

The crown for my costume is not complete yet (that's only a rough sketch of the front) but that's what it wll somewhat look like. As for the outfit, I'm pretty satisfied with it, but I'd like to hear your opinions on it as well. All (good and bad) comments are welcome. :)

And of course, if you haven't seen the anime, or you havn't guessed it yet, I'm being none other than Sailor Moon!

Don't get me wrong: I was going to be a Mew Mew, but the amount of money it took to make or buy one of their costumes was WAY out of my budget!

And, if you don't like my costume, as Sailor Moon would say, ''In the name of the moon, I will punish you!'' (Just kidding!)

Ichigo (Close Enough) Cosplay Look!

I'm not sure why I didn't think of this earlier, but, I will now find cosplay looks, for those of you who want to look like the Mews Mews. These clothing items will not be exact matches, but they will be close enough. (Hence the name, close-enough cosplay.)
So, for the first look, I tried to find an outfit like this one:

So, for the pink tank, the closest match I found was this:

Now, although you can not see the shoes in the photo I've shown above, in the doll version of the outfit they show Ichigo wearing pink gogo boots:

I can not tell if there's a heel on them or not, but hopefully my match came close enough for you guys!:)

Mew Mew Forever Turns 1 Years Old!

Kyaaaa! I can't believe it! Mew Mew Forever is now one year old! The time had passed so quickly...Anyway, I can't thank you all enough for supporting my blog! I now have 11 followers, and I hope to have double that amount by next year! To think, the first post on this blog started out with announcing the release date of Tokyo Mew Mew Omnibus 1, and the last post I made announced when a TMM livestream would be taking place.

But there is someone who'd I like to thank especially for following this blog: Shayna! She has been following this blog since the actual first day that it started up. She was the first to comment on this blog as well. And since then she's been commenting and giving me great suggestions about the site!

The last thing I'd like to mention is about another special person: Hika Yagami! She may not realize it, but she's actually helped me quite a lot with this site. Not only has she corrected me on some of my, er, not so great posts, but she's given me ideas for some topics and pages all by hosting her weekly livestreams.

And also, hope you guys enjoy the new layout! The header is a bit big, but for those that have been with me the longest, you know it's been bigger in the past. ;)

Pretty Cure And Mint Doll Comparison

I'm probably not the first one to notice this, but I'd thought I'd bring it to your attention anyway. Take a look at the Pretty Cure doll in blue, and then the Mint Cafe doll.

Similar much? The clothes, the socks, the hair accessories...
Now I wonder if any of the doll companies got ideas from each other...
